Training Hospice Staff

Friends of BCH works closely with UK hospices and we are particularly grateful to Richard House Children’s Hospice in London. BCH staff, including the director, medical practitioners and fundraisers, have been there for training and also visited other UK children’s hospices and taken part in seminars and training events in the UK.

Friends of BCH has started to develop a new programme at BCH called Elements of Children’s Physiotherapy based on the western model of paediatric physiotherapy.  This project will be co-ordinated by a physiotherapist whose career background is in managing physiotherapy services for the four hospital sites of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
