Throughout Eastern Europe & Ex-Soviet Countries

bestpractiseFriends of BCH supports the Belarusian Children’s Hospice’s training programme for doctors, nurses and children’s palliative care specialists from other countries in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. For many of these countries, BCH is their first experience of the hospice-at-home model of care. The training takes the form of programmes delivered at BCH’s own training facility at Forest Glade or BCH experts travel to neighbouring countries to take part in conferences and seminars.

Friends of BCH and BCH itself are enthusiastic to spread knowledge throughout the Russian speaking countries about the huge advantages to children, parents and state medical services of hospice-at-home care.
