Counselling

BCH provides counselling to terminally ill children and young people as well as to other members of their family. There is also a bereavement counselling service and BCH helps bereaved parents to organise and run self-help groups and an annual memorial service.

BCH has a chapel which is visited regularly by Russian Orthodox and Catholic priests. The priests look after parents and hospice staff who also need support and a listening ear from time to time. The hospice willingly arranges for chaplains from other denominations and religions to visit.
